Nevada Meteorite Picture of the Day
(for the Month of August 2009)

Explanation:

The above images were sent in by Jeff Pringle, an avid meteorite collector and hunter from the San Francisco Bay Area. Jeff had an earlier find appear here on this web site a few years ago. But, he also has to his credit a California meteorite that appeared in Meteoritical Bulletin #96 as, "Paymaster".
Congratulations, Jeff, on finding another neat chondrite.

Being a recent find, there is very little additional information that can be shared at this time.
More information will be forthcoming in a future Nev Met POD.
