Name of Nevada Meteorite: NOT Formally Approved, YET - but a provisional name has been assigned.
Classification: (pending) - Ordinary Chondrite

Explanation:
The above image shows this find still in-situ.!
Classification is still pending for this find - a Stony - Ordinary Chondrite - but it is a good example of an "in-situ" meteorite!
Also, this image shows that weathered chondritic stones can be found in a variety of conditions and shades of color.
Meteorite-recovery efforts are on-going at this locality. All new finds will be classified and cataloged, and will appear here in a future NvMetPOD!
